Have you ever added natural smokey flavor to your beverage? Or, ever wondered what it may taste like if you added some intensity to your cocktail?
Now you can…. with this artisan crafted “Whiskey & Cocktail smoker” made from white oak for this exact tastebud adventure.
I wanted to stay true to the whiskey craft by using the same hardwood that is used in the ageing process after distillation. As you may know, whiskey is aged in White Oak charred barrels. The barrels impart the color that we recognize with the beverage.
But whiskey is not the only beverage that you can add a smokey nuance to…. this part is yours to explore.
Please use caution while using this smoker. Use in an area clear of flammable items! Follow Butane Torch manufactures instructions while using.
This piece includes:
1 - White Oak- n- Smoke “Whiskey & Cocktail smoker”.
1 - Bag of “White Oak shavings”
This is my preference, but there are many ways to add just the right amount of flavor for your taste…
Step 1 - Place “Whiskey & Cocktail Smoker” on top of beverage glass (empty or with ice). Place cotton ball size amount of “White Oak shavings” into smoker chimney.
Step 2 - Use Butane Torch to apply flame to “White Oak shavings” that you placed in the chimney of the “Whiskey & Cocktail smoker.”
Continue to hold torch to “White Oak Shavings” as smoke fills the glass below. Once desired level of smoke is achieved remove torch.
Allow “Whiskey & Cocktail Smoker” to sit on top of the glass for 1-4 minutes dependent on the level of smoke flavor you would like to achieve.
Step 3 - Remove “Whiskey & and Cocktail smoker” from glass and pour your Bourbon. Be thoughtful of any hotspots on the smoker when removing and place on a non-flammable surface.
