Cedar is a soft wood that is naturally resistant to moisture, insects and rotting. In my opinion it is a wonderful material to use in some applications.
Do to the natural character of solid cedar, some seasonal wood movement should be expected. This is normal and won’t affect the functionality. The design is rustic and crafted to embrace this change.
